Upon arrival you'll notice the clean, orderly entrance and bright genuine smile from behind the desk. He and the staff took the time to explain everything he felt needed done and never once did I feel pressured into any decisions. One of my biggest fears are needles I honestly didn't even know he had finished when he said,so did that feel painful.

I chose to come back to have 2 other teeth get fillings and I can say that honestly I know I will keep my appointment, unlike other dentist visits where I would cancel due to pain or fear.
Before my appointment I was able to speak to Dr.Andy and explain this he was very understanding and reassuring to me, not one time did he make me feel badly or embarrassed because of it.
Dr. Andy and his staff are fantastic! They saw my young daughter who has quite a large fear of dentists - and terrible teeth. Not the best combination. The visit went amazing - both Dr. Andy and Kayla were so kind and reassuring. The absolute best bedside manner that I have seen from a dental staff in a long time. Absolutely recommend Summit Family Dentistry!
Dr. Pernell explained my exam in full detail the work that I needed to have done. I especially like the fact that he does the cleaning himself and as he works on your teeth explains everything that he does. I highly recommend Dr. Andy Pernell DDS to anyone needing or looking for a dentist. I have been greatly satisfied for the work he has done on my teeth.
Dr. Pernell and his staff are great! I had a little bit of anxiety about this appointment because it had been so long since I had been to any dentist. However, he did a great job explaining everything he was doing and educating me on how to best care for my teeth. Additionally, he was nice enough to offer a discount on teeth whitening for my upcoming wedding after I showed interest. I will definitely be going back!
Didn't mean for this to be so lengthy but I would urge anyone in need of dental work to consider making a appointment with them. Also I chose to drive 50 minutes to his office and it was more than worth the drive time.
They were good about handling my insurance and the cost was well below what I was expecting.
I can't say enough good things about Dr.Pernell and the staff. I am one of those people who have a great fear when it comes to visiting the dentist.
